Additional equipment

Child seats

Upon request, most Europcar stations offer the following types of child seats:

for infants - 0 up to 12 months (0-13 kg)
for children from 12 months up to 3 years (9-18 kg)
for children from 3 up to 7 years (15-30 kg)
boosters for children above 7 years of age

All you need to do while booking your car, is to give your child's age. The child seat rental cost is 4 EUR net daily. Max 80 per rental.

According to the polish Traffic Law, all children up to 12 years of age and/or 150 cm height must be carried in a certain way:

„...in vehicles having seat belts, children must be carried in safety seats or other child protecting device, according to the child's weight and height, as well as specific technical conditions”.

GPS Navigation

Having a GPS device with you, makes your trip much easier.

We offer a multi-language TomTom navigation set. Remember to ask for a navigation system while you book your car at Europcar station, and if you book online, just select it in the „additional equipment” section.

The cost of a GPS device is only 5 EUR net daily.

Safety during winter time

From the 1st of November until the end of March all our cars are equipped with winter package. The package contains tires accommodated for winter conditions, ice scraper and winter washing liquid (filled up in the car). The cost is automatically added to the rental cost - 2 EUR net daily.

Upon request, availability of snow chains will be confirmed or not within 48 hours. Because of that, if you know you are going to need them, please check the availability at the rental station in advance.

Snow chains rental cost is 5 EUR net daily.

Additional driver

Only the renter holds the right to drive the rented car. Additional drivers must be added at the time of checking out, in order to put their personal data into the contract.
All additional drivers must comply with age and driver's licence issuance restrictions as applied to the main renter.

In Poland, the cost of each additional driver added to the contract is 5 EUR net per day, maximum 120 EUR per rental

Young driver surcharge

All drivers between 21 and 25 years of age are subject to additional "Young driver surcharge" of 8 EUR net per day, maximum 120 EUR net per rental.

Vehicle delivery/collection

This option needs prior confirmation by Europcar and is not available through the online reservation system. In order to request it, please contact our Reservation Office.

Airport charge

This charge is obligatory at every airport where Europcar office is present and amounts to 12% of the basic rental rate.

After hours check-out/check-in

This charge of 25 EUR net per rental is valid for all Europcar stations and applies to check-out or check-in outside the office operating hours.

No-Show fee

If at the reservation time the Customer does not provide the payment datails (credit card number together with its validity date or Driver's ID in case of Europcar Card payment), the renting station guaranties the car to be available up to one hour after the scheduled check-out time.

However, if the Customer provided such payment details (credit card number together with its validity date or Driver's ID in case of Europcar Card payment), Europcar guaranties the car to be available until the station closing time.

If the reservation is not cancelled at least two hours before the scheduled check-out time and the car is not picked up until the station closing time, the Customer's credit card or Europcar charge card will be charged with the „NO-SHOW” fee of 95 EUR net.
